Lee Eun Sung (Ji Sung) graduated from a newly established medical school in the provinces. He applies for a job at the hospital and has high hopes of becoming a great doctor. Nam Hye Suk (Kim Min-Jung) graduated at top of her medical school. She is an absolute fundamentalist but starts to show her humane side once she gets to know Eun Sung. The problem is Choi Kang g**k (Jo Jae-Hyun) just became the new head of the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. He believes that only doctors can save peoples' lives and is a genius but he is also a stubborn surgeon who does not care for hospital policies. Only Eun Sung and Hye Suk apply to work in his department.

One day, a famous actor Lee Dong Gwon (Lee Ji Hoon) is admitted into the Hospital for arrhythmia surgery. He immediately falls for Hye-seok, who is his classmate from elementary school. He later gets jealous when he sees that Eun Sung and Hye Suk are getting closer to one another.

Synopsis:
When soldiers and officers stationed at GP 506 failed to report back to their superiors, officials of the South Korean military began to worry over the possibility of North Korean commandos, as protocol requires ROK military guard posts to report every half hour. A team of back-up soldiers were dispatched to GP 506 to investigate the area, and there, they find the remains of 19 bodies - a massacre that recently took place. The team located two surviving soldiers, one of them an enlisted soldier and suspect in the mass murders, the other the said base’s commanding officer. Admist all this, the MP team faces mysterious events that leave soldiers critically injured. Later, the MP team realizes that a homicidal virus could have been the cause of the massacre and appears to be contagious. Without any knowledge about this newly found disease, they later get isolated in the same post due to the raging weather, with the infections spreading.
